Our tutors are highly experienced teachers and motivated academics from Oxford University. They will guide you to think more deeply about your subject and gain academic maturity before you apply to university. Oxford has produced and continues to produce some of the finest legal minds, from William Blackstone to the heavily influential recent head of the Supreme Court Lord Hoffmann. All of your tutors will work regularly in this environment and will be involved in investigating and even creating the newest legal developments, as well as being highly experienced in teaching law courses.

Teaching methodology

Learning in a small group (no more than 15 students and often fewer) means that you get quality time with your teacher and ask as many questions as you like! Through interactive learning, our teachers will guide you through new concepts and assign you practice tasks to build your knowledge and skills. You will also have an opportunity for group work, independent research, and homework assignments to be discussed in class. Small classes mean everyone gets to have their say, and students learn from debating with one another, as well as from their tutor.

The Experience

Academically challenging, rooted in independent learning and fueled by critical thinking. The Oxbridge style of learning provides an unrivaled academic experience, giving access to individualised attention from Oxford tutors. The course is designed to emulate the Oxford academic experience, including workshops for developing further education and career skills.
